Christmas - Shipping/Click and Collect

Orders placed in December do not have a guaranteed delivery date. This is due to any delays Royal Mail experience during busy periods. For the most up-to-date information please visit the Royal Mail website directly. 
Orders placed up until 19th December 2024 will be shipped before Christmas (we can not guarantee they will arrive for Christmas)
Any orders placed on or after 20th December 2024 will not be shipped until 3rd January 2025.

Click and collect orders placed up until 19th December will be available for collection before Christmas. Please wait for a confirmation email that your order is ready and check our opening hours page prior to visiting us.

STANDARD SHIPPING

All orders over £35 are shipped free. Orders under £35 within the United Kingdom have a £3.95 standard shipping fee. You can upgrade this to the Royal Mail Special Delivery for £8.95. This service has full tracking and requires a signature on delivery. Please note this next day service still uses the same processing/dispatch time. 

Once your order has been placed it will be processed within 5 working days. Once ready to be shipped you will receive an email with a dispatch notice. Standard delivery orders are shipped as a second class parcel via Royal Mail. These will then be delivered within 3 working days. In the event your parcel is still not with you after a week, we advise you to contact The Handmade Elephant to assist in locating your parcel.

The delivery time frame is dependent on the delivery service of Royal Mail. Please check Royal Mail's website directly for any delays or breaks in service. 

We are not responsible for any delays in the Royal Mail service.

PICK UP IN-STORE

Once your order has been placed it will be processed within 5 working days. Once ready you will receive an email to confirm it is ready for collection. Please see our Contact Us page to view opening hours. You are required to show ID and your order confirmation email when collecting your order. If you are collecting on behalf of someone else you are still required to show ID and the confirmation email. 

If you require any items urgently please get in touch prior to ordering as not all of our online stock is available in-store. 

RETURNS

Should you find your order is not what you expect and wish to return it please get in contact with us within 7 days. We will try our best to resolve any issues you may have. If we can not, we will ask you to package the item/s carefully and return to:

It is you the customers responsibility to ensure that the item/s are returned to store as sold, with all labels still attached and in a sellable condition. Location and state of returned items are the responsibility of the customer until they have been received by us.
Please note sale items are non-refundable. If we receive an item that is no longer fit for sale we will be unable to issue a refund for it.
Return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We are not responsible for any errors you have made whilst placing an order. Please review all orders before checking out to prevent 
this.
